What is NA Conversion?

NA (Non-Agricultural) Conversion is the mandatory revenue process that changes the legal land-use status of agricultural land so it can be used for industrial, commercial, or residential construction. In Maharashtra, this is processed by the Revenue Department / Collector's office, and no industrial construction can legally proceed on farmland until the conversion order is issued.
